If you ask us, Thursdays have always been better than Tuesdays or Wednesdays. It's further through the working week, the weekend is tantalisingly close, and — best of all — the Europa League happens. Two games in an evening! One involving Manchester United! Yes, you can stick your Champions League.
Tonight's opponents, Saint-Étienne, were a major force in French football during the 1960s and 70s, regularly picking up domestic trophies and cups and reaching the final of the 1976 European Cup. Times have been a little leaner of late, but the current team sits in fifth in Ligue 1 and are therefore Not To Be Taken Lightly. Also they play in green, which is fun.
Want to know which players to look out for? Head over here.
For United, we know that will be seeing the same back four against Watford and may, if we're lucky, see exactly the same XI. It feels like it's been ages since that's happened. Has it been ages? We don't have the time to check, so let's assume so.
