Paul Pogba will miss Middlesbrough, sit out international break

After limping off in the Europa League, Manchester United's key midfielder will miss at least one Premier League game.

89 million quid. 89 million quid. And he's injured. For 89 million quid, you'd expect a football who can play without hamstrings. And you'd expect hamstrings made out of tungsten. And you'd expect tungsten reinforced with ... wow, this is tiring. No idea how Paul Pogba's critics keep going.

Anyway, everybody gets a break now, not least the man himself. Pogba limped off early in the second half against Rostov, pulling something while chasing the ball around the centre circle. For tBB's money he was having a decent game — just as he was against Chelsea while United had 11 men — but hey, tBB's money is considerably less than £89m.

Speaking afterwards, Jose Mourinho indicated that it would be at least a few weeks before Pogba returned to the football pitch.

I don't know how long for sure but there will be no Middlesbrough and no national team.

So, everybody relax. Put the waste of money arguments to one side, and take your leisure. Marouane Fellaini's here, and he does tricks now. Everything's going to be fine.
