A Manchester United U-19 squad is currently in Texas, participating in the Dallas Cup this week. In two matches played so far, United have split the results.
An apparently still jet-lagged Reds side got spanked 4-1 by Chivas on Sunday, before rebounding with a 3-1 win against Real Salt Lake the following day. American Matthew Olosunde scored the decisive goal with a weaving solo run. Callum Gribbin - the highly rated young attacker on whose shoulders we are sure to be resting on our hopes within a year or two - capped off the win with a delicious chip.
The young Reds face Coritiba on Wednesday, with a win needed to advance to the next round.
U19s: Great goals, an important #MUFC win and reaction from coach Tommy Martin.
