In United’s first leg Europa League quarter-final away at Anderlecht, José Mourinho makes three changes to the side that faced Everton. At the back, The People’s Player of the Season Antonio Valencia makes his return to the starting XI, replacing Luke Shaw. Matteo Darmian switches flanks to left-back, and Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly continue in the middle. Behind them, the lately-less-of-a-clown-show Sergio Romero continues his cup run.

In midfield, Ander Herrera is given the day off, and Michael Carrick partners Paul Pogba. We suspect the Frenchman will have quite a bit of running to do today. Like death and taxes, Zlatan Ibrahimović starts up front. Jesse Lingard, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Marcus Rashford will be buzzing around behind him.
Off the bench, Captain Fantastic Marouane Fellaini is available, as are Shaw and Herrera, with Anthony Martial the only attacking change at Mourinho’s disposal.
