After scraping by Anderlecht in extra time on Thursday, Manchester United won’t have to wait long to find out their next opponents in the Europa League. The semi-final draw takes place on Friday at UEFA’s lair headquarters, and joining United in the magic sorting hat (or whatever they use) are Ajax, Celta Vigo, and Lyon.

Ajax would arguably be the most forgiving opponents (*knocks on proverbial wood*), Celta Vigo would be trickier than they appear on paper, and Lyon could easily turn United over.

If you feel so inclined, that other European competition has its semi-final draw on all the same networks and streaming platforms an hour earlier, but everyone knows that the Champions League is just bourgeois elitist rubbish, and the real tournament of the people is the Europa League. At least until next season, hopefully. Ahem. Check out the details below.
