Jose Mourinho has again singled out the useless Chris Smalling for criticism after it appeared that he has lost faith in the central defender's brain. Given there is no brain present, you can understand why. We can be excited when he is finally sent back to Maidstone and told to sort his approach to football out. He was a promising footballer, now he's an adult with no sign of improvement. Enjoy Middlesbrough, Chris!
Michael Keane is interesting plenty of the bigger clubs in the league. As well as Manchester United - who must have some advantage due to him supporting United - Everton, Spurs and Liverpool are all interested. The game tonight will go a large way to securing some of the best players this summer, provided they do actually qualify for the Champions League.
Mourinho has said that his transfer plans have changed in the light of injuries to Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. That means we can expect a central defender, and perhaps for Anthony Martial to be retained for next season. Martial certainly impressed against Burnley.
In this story on ESPNFC, Alvaro Morata is rumoured to be interesting Manchester United. I'm not sure if Mourinho knows much about Morata from his time at Real Madrid, but he's certainly available in the summer for the right price. I say certainly, but I'll level with you, I'm completely guessing.
And lastly, Wayne Rooney claims that he still has a lot to offer the club. He can give other members of the squad a lift to work, for example, or lend them change for the vending machine. He really has a lot that he can do for the side.
