Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that while he was suspended, he has missed Old Trafford. United have certainly missed Ibrahimovic, as he's one of the few players with bronca and the desire to win things more than anything else in the world. You can read about this here.
However, he might be missing Old Trafford a bit sooner than some people have expected recently, as LA Galaxy are tempting him with a transfer at the end of the season. Like much of United's chances next season when it comes to the squad, I'd expect much depends on whether or not they manage to qualify for the Champions League.
Paul Wilson in the Guardian thinks that Jose Mourinho has devalued Luke Shaw by questioning his commitment and fitness. If you were to think about it properly, you would see that Luke Shaw has devalued Luke Shaw with his poor commitment at fitness. United are well behind the best, and they don't have time to educate people with potential, they need more determined players right away.
Further proving Wilson wrong is that Shaw has been recalled to the squad after clear-the-air talks with Mourinho. It seems like his man-management might be better than some football writer. Who knew?
And it seems that Mourinho will be pleased with Andres Pereira, who continues to stand up against Catalan nationalism after a clash with Ivan Rakitic when he played Barcelona at the weekend. Though this might all be moot when England goes to war with Spain next week.
