Right then, business time. The draw against Manchester City was boring, if perhaps understandable. The draw against Swansea was deeply frustrating. But while United don't necessarily need to win tonight, this being a two-legged tie and all, a strong performance and a couple of goals would go a long way towards settling things down.

Thank heavens, then, that this latest injury crisis appears to have abated somewhat. At the back, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Eric Bailly are all in the squad, and Paul Pogba is also included. Hopefully he'll be able to play a full part. United's midfield looks frankly miserable without him.

As for Celta Vigo, they lost 3-0 at the weekend to Athletic Bilbao and currently sit 11th in La Liga. However, they were resting a number of key players, and they've beaten both Barcelona (in the league) and Real Madrid (over two legs, in the Copa del Rey) this season. Best get nice and nervous now, just in case.
