In the Mirror, we have news of another injury for Manchester United. Ashley Young seemed to twang a hamstring despite only being on the pitch for a few minutes, and had to be replaced by the returning Chris Smalling. One on, one off.
Serious hopes of the top four seem to be fading after the win for United yesterday. Given the injuries to the squad, it seems that Jose Mourinho is happy to rest players for the Arsenal game. Of course, Arsenal being Arsenal, three points this week is both entirely plausible and absolutely hilarious, but we should remember that we're fifth (are we fifth?) for a reason.
Arsene Wenger says that one day he will make peace with Mourinho, but given Wenger is set to stay at Arsenal for a year or two longer, that might not be any time soon. Mourinho hates Wenger because he is treated sycophantically by the press, and because his utter mediocrity is plainly offensive to anyone with an attention span.
Daley Blind is clearly one of the deepest thinkers at the club, and in football overall. You can tell that because sometimes he has longer hair and looks a bit moody. Continuing his brilliant insights, he also told the waiting press that Manchester United are not in the Europa League final yet. Thanks, Daley.
Lastly, Mourinho thinks that United should have closed the tie against Celta Vigo. One thing that is promising is that Celta are obviously rubbish, and United have the advantage of an away goal with just one game to go before the final. If they manage to foul this up, then the season will be a complete disaster. They need to focus on getting back to fitness as many players as possible.
Stockholm (/ˈstɒkhoʊm, -hoʊlm/;[7] Swedish pronunciation: [²stɔkhɔlm] or [²stɔkːɔlm] ( listen))[8] is the capital of Sweden and the most populous city in the Nordic countries;[9][a] 932,917 people live in the municipality,[3] approximately 1.5 million in the urban area,[5] and 2.3 million in the metropolitan area.[3] The city is spread across a total of 17 islands on the coast in the southeast of Sweden at the mouth of Lake Mälaren, by the Stockholm archipelago and the Baltic Sea. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by a Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the capital of Stockholm County. - Wikipedia
