David de Gea to stay at Manchester United — reports

According to the Spanish press, Real Madrid never really fancied him anyway.

Cross your fingers. Then cross your crossed fingers. Then c rond hjd kj d — sorry, hang on, let me uncrosS just for a second. the word out of Spain is that Real Madrid will not move for David de Gea this season.

According to Marca (and with thanks to Prof. G. Translate):

The decision is already made. Except unexpected turn and an unexpected change of direction, the goal of Real Madrid will not undergo any change in its two main actors. The leaders of the Real Madrid have decided that Keylor Navas and Kiko Casilla will remain the benchmarks of Zinedine Zidane for the goal, d scrapping the incorporation of David de Gea.

Not only that, but Marca then suggest that Madrid will move for AC Milan's Gianluigi Donnarumma in the summer of 2018, which means that De Gea can stay at United until he's old and bent and grey. Or until he does something obscure to annoy Jose Mourinho, at which point he'll be bombed off to Paris Saint-Germain.

Anyway, if true — and we don't know much about Marca's provenance, just their prominence — then we can all agree this is something of a relief. Not only do United get to keep a pretty decent goalkeeper, but we all get one saga less to worry about this summer.

Right, we're going back in. f j k k l szls jx ; a ;jo : UEje e:UI !!!!
