Lukaku: "When United came calling, I didn't have to think twice"

Fans of Transfer Bingo, get your cards and your marker pens ready. Manchester United's latest signing Romelu Lukaku has been talking to ESPN FC — who appear to have gazumped MUFC TV to the exclusive interview, which isn't bad going — and he's been saying exactly what he's supposed to say.

Beyond all that, there's some interesting stuff about his friendship with Paul Pogba and his personal ambitions. Most encouraging, though, is his perspective on being reunited with Jose Mourinho, who sent him on his way from Chelsea just a few seasons ago. Lukaku appears to view this move as a chance to demonstrate how he's grown as a player:

You know, we were together under different circumstances. Obviously, the first time when I met him, I was still a young kid, and I was eager to play. And he understood my decision why I left at the time. I returned on the pitch. Now I'm 24. I'm a grown man. He sees the maturity that has grown throughout the years, so I'm really thankful for the opportunity he gave me again.
