Rejoice! Rejoice! It seems that the reign of His Grace Zlatan of House Ibrahimović, First of His Name, King of the Anders, the Rashfords, and the Fosu-Mensahs, Lord of Old Trafford, and Protector of Eric the Red, may not be over after all.

It always seemed unlikely that Ibrahimović’s last on act on a football pitch would be to limp off grimacing. Such an ending would be extremely off-brand. And José Mourinho, speaking before United’s first game of the season against West Ham on Sunday, has confirmed that this is the case:
I just think that he was very clear by showing what he did last year was not enough for him. He thinks he can do more and wants more at the highest level, so we're having conversations and we're discussing the possibility of him to stay with us for the second part of the season.
We wish him the best of luck, of course — even if he’s not any good, and suspect he will be, a football club with Ibrahimović in is always more fun than one without. ... mmmm. Delightful. Just a shame nobody in the squad can cross, really.
