Romelu Lukaku has been the subject of a cringe-worthy new chant originated by some Manchester United fans that references a racial stereotype. Via the club, Lukaku has now politely asked the fans to find another way to show their support.
Romelu: "Great backing since I joined #MUFC. Fans have meant well with their songs but let’s move on together. #RespectEachOther"

It shouldn’t have needed to be settled any further, but that should put it to be bed. Some fans, of course, have responded in exactly the manner you’d expect.
so he basically loves it but the club dont, so they tell him to get the fans stop with the chants

“Has anyone even asked Lukaku what he thinks?!”
Lukaku: Let’s not sing that anymore.
“Not buying it, sorry.”

Anti-racism football body: Stop singing the song. Many black fans: Stop singing the song. Club: Stop signing the song. Player: Stop singing the song.
Man on Twitter: “I just don’t see the issue here.”
We've been singing a song about park eating dogs for 10 years but this is how you handle a song about a 2 foot male appendage? Embarrassing.

“We’ve been really racist before. This is only a bit racist. No fair!”
