Manchester United face the toughest test of their season so far on Saturday, when they travel to the Potteries to play Stoke City. Mark Hughes' men have made a solid start to the campaign, picking up four points from their opening three games — including an amusing victory at home to Arsenal. They’re a notoriously difficult team to face in their own back yard, and United will be expecting a difficult encounter.
United will still be without the injured pair of Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimović, who are joined on the sidelines by the unfit Ashley Young and Luke Shaw. It’ll be interesting to see whether José Mourinho opts to pick a slightly more experimental starting lineup with Tuesday’s opening Champions League group stage match against Basel looming large on the horizon.
