Our long collective nightmare is finally over. After an international break that seemed to last forever, Manchester United are back in Premier League action, facing Crystal Palace on Saturday. On top of that, United are playing their first match at Old Trafford for a month, so the home atmosphere should be livelier than usual. José Mourinho’s men are currently languishing in 8th place in the league, but the manager reiterated his claim that United will be in the top four by the end of the year.
Aiding United’s chances of success in their quest for mediocrity is some positive news on the injury front. Anthony Martial, Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford, and Marouane Fellaini have all recovered from minor injuries and are available to face Palace on Saturday. The only notable absentee for the weekend is Luke Shaw, who is suspended for yellow card accumulation.
