Manchester United travel away to Southampton in Premier League action on Saturday. The Reds fell flat in their most recent league outing, only managing a scoreless draw at home to Crystal Palace last weekend. Only an injury time winner from Marouane Fellaini prevented the same scoreline in midweek Champions League play against BSC Young Boys.
As underwhelming as United have been, Southampton have been having a miserable season of their own. The Saints sit in 18th place, only off the very foot of the table on goal difference. Mark Hughes could well find himself out of a job if things go particularly badly against his former team on Saturday.
José Mourinho has confirmed that promising young full back Diogo Dalot will make his Premier League debut this weekend, while Alexis Sánchez will definitely not be involved — the Chilean attacker suffered what appears to be a serious muscular injury in training this week.
