The final international break of the season is finally over, and Manchester United are back in Premier League action on Saturday to begin the definitely-not-at-all-pointless final stretch of their season. This weekend’s opponents are relegation-botherers Swansea City, who need the three points far more than United do, which is usually a recipe for an upset.
Jose Mourinho has confirmed that central defenders Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo are both available again after injury. Luke Shaw has a chance to start given that first choice “left back” Ashley Young picked up a knock on international duty. Paul Pogba should return to the starting line-up after his impressive showing for France earlier this week, but we can never underestimate Mourinho’s ability to be a weirdo.
Premier League schedule
We kickoff at 15:00 local time, which translates to a relatively reasonable 10:00 on the east coast of the USA, and a bleary-eyed 7:00 in the bloody morning over on the west.
Premier League TV channel
United are not on television in the UK, so crank up your illegal streams radios. In the USA, tune in to either NBCSN or Telemundo Deportes. For everybody else, livesoccertv.com should sort you out.
Premier League streaming
Nothing (legal) in the UK, NBC Sports Live in the USA.
Starting lineup
Prediction: David de Gea; Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia; Nemanja Matić, Paul Pogba; Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sánchez; Romelu Lukaku.
Update: 8/11. A respectable effort.
