José Mourinho accused of splitting United dressing room

The latest rumours of dressing room disquiet come courtesy of The Sun.

This season may not have been as successful as some at Manchester United would’ve hoped, but neither has it been too bad. Second place and a shot at beating Chelsea in the FA Cup final isn’t too bad going, even if early Champions League elimination came as a disappointment.

That, however, hasn’t stopped the Sun today accusing José Mourinho of upsetting the United dressing room, with up to a “DOZEN” (their block capitals, not ours) players said to be unhappy with his leadership.

However, the journalist responsible for this “EXCLUSIVE” appears to know absolutely nothing that we don’t. He reels off a list of the usual gripes: unfair treatment of Luke Shaw, supposedly strained relations with Paul Pogba, the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimović and — bizarrely — the fact that Mourinho’s son was in the dugout during the weekend’s FA Cup win over Tottenham Hotspur as reasons for the dressing room disquiet.

In short, there seems to be absolutely nothing here to see whatsoever, and we don’t suspect anything will come of it. NEXT!
