Excellent news: Romelu Lukaku is among the Manchester United players that have made the trip down to London ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea. The Belgian striker hasn’t featured for José Mourinho’s side since picking up a foot injury in the win over Arsenal last month, though there is now optimism that the Reds’ top scorer could be fit to start against his former club at Wembley.
Anthony Martial has also made the trip, notwithstanding his absence from the final league game of the season at home to Watford last time out. The retiring Michael Carrick has made the trip, though according to the Metro did so “in the coaches’ black attire”, rather than the green kit sported by the players. The full squad is as follows:
David de Gea, Sergio Romero, Joel Pereira, Matteo Darmian, Antonio Valencia, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo, Daley Blind, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young, Ander Herrera, Scott McTominay, Marouane Fellaini, Nemanja Matić, Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sánchez, Romelu Lukaku, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford.
