Manchester United seem set to make their first purchase of the summer transfer window as they line up a young Portuguese right-back.
Diogo Dalot has played just six times for Porto, but according to reports United are going to exercise his release clause in order to complete his signing.
Dalot was promoted from the Porto B team at the end of the season, and he has played for the Portuguese Under-21 team. An injury cut short his season, but that does not appear to have stopped Jose Mourinho making him his first season as he rebuilds the squad.
At just 19 years old, it seems as if Dalot will not be thrown into first-team action regularly, with Antonio Valencia still the senior player. Valencia will turn 33 in August, meaning he has the experience if not the fitness to carry himself throughout the season.
