Manchester United’s pre-season tour of the USA comes to an end on Tuesday, as the Reds face off against European champions Real Madrid in Miami. José Mourinho has been exceedingly grumpy, as he only has five (!) fully fit and training senior outfield players. The injuries have continued to pile up, and there are still several players yet to report back following World Cup duty.
Alexis Sánchez is certain to lead the line again, likely partnered by either Juan Mata or some children. Andres Pereira — the most impressive player of the tour so far — is almost sure to start in midfield again, but he may be partnered by new signing Fred, who got a brief taste of action on Saturday against Liverpool. David de Gea is in line for his first appearance after joining up with the squad a few days ago, but it’s unclear whether Eric Bailly and Ander Herrera will be involved after picking up knocks at the weekend.
International Champions Cup schedule
We kick off in the middle of the night in the UK — 01:05 on Wednesday in fact, which is 8:05 PM Tuesday night on the east coast of the USA, and a very reasonable 5:05 over on the west.

Lineups
To be confirmed. Whoever is fit. There’s a chance Michael Carrick may line up at the back, for old time’s sake.
Update: De Gea is back, Bailly captains the side, and Fred makes his first start in what looks like a midfield diamond.
