Red hot Manchester United will be hoping to make it four wins out of four as the travel to face Newcastle United in the Premier League in their first match of 2019. Newcastle are rooted in relegation trouble, but Rafael Benitez is a wily old scamp who will no doubt put out a side that will be more stubborn to break down than any of the sides Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has faced so far.
The United manager now has a full array of attacking options from which to choose. Romelu Lukaku made a scoring return to action at the weekend, and Alexis Sánchez has been confirmed to play a part on Wednesday. At the back, the center back partnership picks itself as Eric Bailly is serving a suspension for his red card against Bournemouth, and Chris Smalling remains out with injury. Marcos Rojo may no longer even exist.
