Bad news, folks: Manchester United are playing again. Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s side, who’ve recorded only one league win since the opening round of the season, travel to face Steve Bruce’s Newcastle on Sunday. The Magpies haven’t started the season particularly well, and sit in the relegation zone after seven matches, but may well fancy their chances of getting something against an out-of-sorts United.
The Reds’ injury problems deepened in their goalless draw away at AZ Alkmaar in midweek, with Jesse Lingard now sidelined with a hamstring injury. He joins the likes of Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba, Phil Jones, Luke Shaw, Anthony Martial and Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the treatment table. The result could well be Axel Tuanzebe being drafted in to start in an unusual full-back position.

It’s a 16:30 kickoff in the UK, which translates to 11:30 on the east coast of the U.S. and 08:30 on the west.
