The international breaks come thick and fast at this time of year, and already we’re straight into the middle of one. A total of eight Reds are in senior international action, most of them in Euro 2020 qualifiers. Let’s hope that they fare a little better abroad than they’ve been doing domestically so far this season.

In action in the Euro 2020 qualifiers will be Daniel James (Wales); Scott McTominay (Scotland); Sheffield United loanee Dean Henderson, Harry Maguire, and Marcus Rashford (England); Victor Lindelöf (Sweden); David de Gea (Spain). The non-European senior international in action will be Marcos Rojo, who will feature in Argentina’s friendlies against Germany and Ecuador.

Will any other important first team players pick up long-term injuries? We can’t wait to find out!
