Manchester United now know their next opponent in the round of 32 of the Europa League: Belgium team Club Brugge.

Club Brugge were a Champions League qualifying team earlier this year but were knocked out in the group stages after finishing third with three points after six matches played. After United won their Group L group stage they were set for an “easier” draw compared to finishing second in the group stage but Club Brugge will not be a pushover. Currently, they are in first place in the Belgian First League with 45 points after 18 matches.

The first game will be played away on February 20 with the return leg at Old Trafford on February 27. United have experience against Club Brugge but that was back in 2015 during a Champions League qualifier where United won 7-1 on aggregate, 3-1 and 4-0.
