Manchester United are one win away from a place in the League Carling Capital One Carabao Cup semifinals. In their way are League One side Colchester United, who travel to Old Trafford on Wednesday hoping to pull off a famous upset. With a busy festive period ahead, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to rotate his team, but we should still expect a relatively strong XI. The United manager acknowledged the importance of a young team winning its first trophy together, and this year’s League Cup is as good a chance as any.

Carabao Cup schedule

It’s a 20:00 kickoff in the UK, which translates to 3:00 PM on the east coast of the U.S. and 12 noon on the west.

Carabao Cup channel

There are no live TV options in either the US or the UK, unfortunately. Everyone else head on over to LiveSoccerTV to find your viewing options.

Carabao Cup streaming

Those in the UK are SOL on streaming options too, we’re afraid, but ESPN+ is an option for those Stateside. If you’re in Canada, you can stream the game through DAZN.

Lineups

Prediction: Sergio Romero; Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Axel Tuanzebe, Brandon Williams; Scott McTominay, James Garner; Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford; Mason Greenwood.

Update: Strong team from OGS, but that Matić-Pereira double pivot...eek.
