Struggling Manchester United host surprisingly-not-struggling Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Boxing Day. United continue to pass up opportunities to close the gap to the top four in the Premier League, and more dropped points against the Magpies — who have already beaten the Reds once this season — could put Champions League qualification practically out of the picture.

The good news is that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have a full squad from which to choose. Eric Bailly and Marcos Rojo were pictured back in training, and — most importantly — Paul Pogba is now fit again after spending the better part of three months on the sidelines. The Frenchman had an encouraging cameo appearance in last weekend’s soul-crushing loss to rock bottom Watford, and should be able to return to the starting lineup on Thursday.

Premier League schedule

It’s a 17:30 kickoff in the UK, which translates to 12:30 on the east coast of the U.S. and a breakfast time kickoff of 09:30 on the west. Wakey wakey!
