Manchester United will travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers for the quarterfinal of the FA Cup next month. The draw was made in the aftermath of the Reds’ 2-0 victory away at Chelsea on Monday evening, with Wolves having ensured their place in the final eight with a win away at Bristol City on Sunday. The game will be played on the weekend beginning March 15.
It could be a tricky tie for United, with Wolves enjoying a brilliant season back in the top flight. They’re currently seventh in the Premier League table, and earned a draw at Old Trafford when they visited José Mourinho’s men back in September. Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City have all failed to win at Molineux this season, and Nuno Espírito Santo’s side may well be optimistic of another scalp.
In the other quarterfinals, Swansea City host Manchester City, Watford face Crystal Palace, and Millwall welcome Brighton.
