The two biggest clubs in England face off at Old Trafford on Sunday, as Manchester United host Liverpool in a top four Premier League clash with major implications. United need a win to keep ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea and hold on to fourth place, as well as to close the gap to Spurs in third, who unexpectedly lost to Burnley earlier in the weekend. Liverpool need at least a draw to climb above Manchester City and reclaim top spot in the table.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may or may not have a full squad to choose from. The manager reported on Friday that both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard could be involved today, but Saturday’s reports indicate that Martial and Nemanja Matić did not link up with the matchday squad. We’ll know soon enough.
