Ole Gunnar Solskjær will take charge of his first match as permanent Manchester United manager on Saturday, when mid-table Watford pay a visit to Old Trafford. The Reds will look to bounce back from back-to-back defeats against Arsenal and Wolves, and close the two-point gap to Arsenal and the final Champions League spot.
Watford could prove to be stubborn opponents with Javi Gracia’s side having charged up to eighth in the table. The likes of Gerard Deulofeu, Troy Deeney and Roberto Pereyra are enjoying strong seasons in attack, and could well cause United problems. They’ll be desperate to crash Solskjær’s coronation.
United will still be without Alexis Sánchez, while Luke Shaw, Nemanja Matić, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial, Romelu Lukaku, Matteo Darmian and Eric Bailly all face late fitness tests.
