Colin is joined by Brent Maximin to take an extensive look at Wayne Rooney and Manchester United from 2006-09. While they were certainly the most decorated years of Rooney’s United career, and he played a central role alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Rooney seemed to accept a more secondary role to the his Portuguese partner. Rooney and Ronaldo were both the stars of the team, but time has shown they didn’t remain equals in terms of production.
