As the transfer deadline approaches for Premier League clubs, Manchester United are looking to make at least one more addition to their squad before midnight on Thursday, August 8th. They seem to be in the market for someone at the no. 10 position, a role that has been played by Juan Mata, Andreas Pereira, and Jesse Lingard in preseason.
Paulo Dybala
Juventus’ no. 10 has been linked with Manchester United through a potential swap deal sending Romelu Lukaku to Turin. Reports, however, are still conflicting:

And now even Tottenham Hotspurs are linked with the Argentine centre forward. If they really are in for him, it could have implications for another player who has been wanting away...
Christian Eriksen
Spurs’ Danish creator had made his desire to leave London known at the beginning of the summer, but has yet to seal a move to another club. Manchester United have been linked to him this week, but negotiating a deal by Friday would likely be difficult.
#mufc are pursuing Christian Eriksen, but may move for Philippe Coutinho if they can't sign Eriksen before the 5pm deadline on Thursday #mulive [telegraph]

£130m was Tottenham's asking price for Christian Eriksen last year. This year it is closer to £50m. Daniel Levy knows it is his last chance to make money from selling him #mulive [@JackPittBrooke on the athletic]

Bruno Fernandes
Bruno Fernandes has been linked with United for most of the summer, but recently conflicting reports have trended towards a move never really been in the works. However, there is still time, and the player has certainly indicated that he is close to moving to a bigger club.
Being asked a lot about Bruno Fernandes. Current rumours are odd since #MUFC have made it clear their interest has been exaggerated by his agent through Portuguese media. It's a tactic tried many times previously.

Philippe Coutinho
United were linked with Coutinho near the end of last season after the Brazilian’s poor run at Barcelona, and it seems that he’s keen on a move back to the Premier League. Tottenham, Arsenal, and United have all three been linked in the past couple days.
