Manchester United play host to the Premier League’s bottom side Norwich City on Saturday, in what is potentially a test of just how bad things can get for Ole Gunnar Solskjær. By hook or by crook the Reds have hauled themselves up into sixth place in the table, but they’ve failed to win any of their last three in all competitions, and succumbed to an embarrassing 2-0 defeat away at Arsenal in their last league outing.
Both sides have a fair few injury problems, but Harry Maguire could make a surprise return from a hip injury in time to feature. Eric Bailly, Marcos Rojo, Diogo Dalot, Scott McTominay, Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard are all out; Phil Jones is doubtful. Norwich will be without a string of regulars including Timm Klose, Josip Drmić and Teemu Pukki; goalkeeper Ralf Fährmann is doubtful.
Premier League schedule
It’s a bog-standard 15:00 kickoff in the UK, which translates to 10:00 on the east coast of the U.S. and a bright and breezy 07:00 on the west.
