The Bruno Fernandes deal is done. After months of speculation, Manchester United have announced an agreement with Sporting CP for the transfer of the attacking midfielder. From a club press release:

“Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Sporting Clube de Portugal for the transfer of Bruno Fernandes. The deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms.

A further announcement will be made in due course.”

Sporting have confirmed the transfer on their end as well, and have released the financial figures: €55m guaranteed fee, €5m for a set number of appearances, €5m for Champions League qualification, €15m for individual achievements and 10% from any future sale.

Bruno Fernandes is expected to have his medical in Manchester on Wednesday, and with personal terms expected to be a formality, the new United player should be unveiled on Thursday.
