Let’s hope Manchester United laid off the Christmas brandy on Friday, as they return to Premier League action away at Leicester City in the early Boxing Day kickoff. Though United have made a late charge in to the Champions League qualification spots, they’re still a point and a place adrift of second-placed Leicester, albeit with a game in hand.
Leicester will be without Daniel Amartey and Ricardo Pereira, though Jamie Vardy and Çaglar Söyüncü face late fitness tests. United will certainly be without Marcos Rojo, but it’s not like that matters much anyway. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Scott McTominay are expected to miss out with knocks.
Premier League schedule
It’s a 12:30 kickoff in the UK, which translates to 07:30 on the east coast of the U.S. and a frankly unpalatable 04:30 on the west.
Premier League channel
BT Sport 1 for those in the UK, NBCSN for those in the US. Everyone else, head on over to LiveSoccerTV to find your viewing options.
Premier League streaming
BT Sport’s live streaming service for those in the UK. In the States, you can catch the action through the NBC Sports App. If you’re in Canada, you can stream the game through DAZN.
Lineups
Prediction: David de Gea; Axel Tuanzebe, Victor Lindelöf, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw; Fred, Paul Pogba; Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford; Anthony Martial.
Update: Dan James at wing-back?
In the red corner for today's Boxing Day encounter...
