Leicester City’s James Maddison has emerged as one of the top midfield talents in the Premier League over the last couple of years, and could soon be on his way to Old Trafford. Manchester United have been linked with the 23-year-old for a few months, and according to a report in the Manchester Evening News, he “would have been at United years ago” if he’d had any say in the matter.
The 23-year-old has been a key performer this season as Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes have made an unlikely bid for continental football. Maddison has chipped in with six goals from central midfield, and was rewarded with his first international cap in England’s demolition of Montenegro in November. He’s looking set to be a star of the future, and would surely make a great signing.
