The worldwide outbreak of the COVID-19 virus has unfortunately halted football for the foreseeable future. From the Premier League to La Liga to just recently the 2020 Summer Olympic games, there’s a large amount of uncertainty as to when supporters will be able to watch their favorite club take the pitch for a live game.
As millions comply with government orders to self-quarantine, that’s brought about a plethora of creativity from the Manchester United players. Since they’re no longer reconvening at the AON Training Complex or Old Trafford week by week, they’ve been forced with the task of keeping themselves entertained while also maintaining their physique. Every once in a while, it’s nice to see the Reds show fans another side of them, one that differs from the muffed passes and lack of set-piece defense. Let’s check in on what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have been up to the last several days.
Anthony Martial shaves it all off
Our beloved number nine Tony Martial decided that if he’s going to make a serious run for the Golden Boot or hell, the Ballon d’Or, he might as well channel the likes of other French internationals and go bald.

...and then Paul Pogba does too
Are the French okay?
Bruno Fernandes is grooming the next United Women’s star
The Portuguese magician and newly-crowned Player of the Month recipient perfected his technique with his young daughter at home. Both dressed in their full kits, Fernandes gave his little one the Manchester derby treatment.

Rashford, Lingard, Lindelöf, and Fred are keeping fit
Marcus Rashford suffered a double stress fracture in his back following the 1-0 win over Wolves in the FA Cup third-round replay on January 15. In spite of the postponement of football, the English international remains committed to his rehabilitation exercises and to show supporters his dedication, posted a video of him exercising on a stationary bike Monday.

Eager to get back to the pitch himself, Jesse Lingard isn’t letting this extra bit of time at home disturb his usual exercise routine.
Good to know that in spite of the circumstances, the Englishman hasn’t lost his sense of humor either.
Before strict social distancing rules were enforced, defender Victor Lindelöf trained alongside midfielder Paul Pogba at what appears to be the latter’s in-home conditioning space.
Joining other Nike athletes with a plea to stay at home, Fred gave followers a behind-the-scenes look at his workout, doing squats while clutching a medicine ball.
Andreas became a dad
Congratulations are in order for Andreas Pereira, who recently welcomed a newborn daughter. The Brazilian international shared the good news via Instagram Tuesday.
For some of our Reds, it’s business as usual. For others, it’s adjusting to life with one more family member at home. Regardless, they’re setting a fine example of staying at home, and we look forward to the day when we can chant “Glory, Glory, Man United” after another incredible victory.
