The Tactical Minute: Manchester United should have kept attacking against Brighton

Goal difference could very plausibly be the deciding factor in Champions League qualification

It’s been a minute (no pun intended) since I’ve put out a Tactical Minute. I think this one is more along the line of what my original plan for The Tactical Minute was. Somewhere between a video and a podcast. I have a take on one aspect of the match, and here it is. There will still be a written Tactical Analysis post about this match if that’s your preference.

Manchester United cruised to a thorough 3-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, but spent the last 10 minutes unable to decide if they should just pass the ball around, or keep attacking. I thought they should have kept attacking. Not because I wanted to see more goals but because United need more goals.
