With the Premier League games coming thick and fast, Manchester United return to action at home to struggling Bournemouth on Saturday. The Reds remain just a place and two points in arrears of fourth-placed Chelsea, and a further point behind Leicester City. Champions League qualification is looking a very real possibility, but Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s men need to maintain their momentum.
They should be able to do so against a Bournemouth side enduring their toughest top flight season to date. The Cherries sit second-bottom, a point adrift of Watford and safety, and deep in the relegation mire. They could be boosted by the absences of Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes; both players are doubtful after a training ground collision. However, Bournemouth have injury problems of their own: star man Callum Wilson is suspended; defenders Charlie Daniels and Simon Francis are doubtful.
