Happy new year! Manchester United kick off 2021 hosting Aston Villa at Old Trafford. United have the chance to go level on points with Liverpool at the top (yes, TOP) of the Premier League table with a win, while Villa will be hoping to continue their strong start to the season by climbing back into the top four.
United will be without a couple of key contributors for Friday’s match. Victor Lindelöf is likely to miss out again with a back injury, and Edinson Cavani will serve the first of his three-match suspension. Other than that, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a fully fit squad from which to choose.
Premier League schedule
It’s a 20:00 kickoff in the UK, which translates to 3:00 PM on the east coast of the U.S. and a lunchtime 12:00 kickoff on the west.
