Manchester United women’s team youth product, Karna Solskjaer, could be handed a debut for the team in their match against Durham in the FA WSL Cup today. Marc Skinner may rotate the squad before the next break, and Solskjaer’s impressive performances for the Academy have put the first team on notice.
Solskjaer, a striker like her legendary father, scored four times when the academy side beat Bristol 7-1 last week. She has already scored eight times in four games this season for the Academy team, which she joined after having moved to England when her father had joined United as men’s team manager in late 2018.

Karna had also found the back of the net for the United Under-21s recently in their game against Liverpool, her her debut for the side.
It is expected that Marc Skinner could rotate his squad for the game against Durham, having confirmed that it gives him a good chance to blood other players into the team.
Ole is seen to be a regular at United women’s games but it is unlikely that the Norwegian will be present at the game today.
