David Moyes’s career as a top-flight manager in England looked to be heading into oblivion after he relegated Sunderland in 2017, hot on the heels of high-profile failures at Manchester United and Real Sociedad. However, in a tale of redemption for the ages, the Scot has come roaring back in two successful spells at West Ham, and now has the east London club contending for Champions League football just three years after saving them from the drop.

The Hammers visit Old Trafford on Sunday, as Moyes returns to his former club with the strongest side he’s managed since his thoroughly impressive 11-year stint at Everton. West Ham currently sit one place and three points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea, but have two games-in-hand on Thomas Tuchel’s outfit. However, Moyes will be unable to select star man Jesse Lingard, who is ineligible to play against his parent club. They’ll also be without Arthur Masuaku, Angelo Ogbonna and Andriy Yarmolenko.

United, meanwhile, are short on attacking options, with Edinson Cavani sidelined, and both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford injury doubts. They look likely to join David de Gea, Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Juan Mata on the sidelines, meaning Amad could be in line to make his Premier League bow.
