What does the role entail?

This person will be responsible for helping The Busby Babe bring readers the best coverage Manchester United on the internet. Please specify in your cover letter if you have any experience writing about specific Manchester United-related topics like the Premier League, Champions League, Manchester United women or other international football. Which aspect of football interests you the most, and why?

This is a remote, part-time contract role compensated with a monthly stipend.

What qualifications should you have?

Our best candidates will:

  • Have a passion for Manchester United and will be already familiar with The Busby Babe.
  • Have writing experience — but specifically, experience writing about Manchester United, transfer rumors and has an appreciation of broader football culture.
  • The ability to self-edit and write clean copy.
  • Be comfortable working in a remote environment.
