Manchester United are closing in on Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, submitting an improved bid of €85m + add ons according to Simon Stone of the BBC. Though this is still short of the German club’s asking price, the report now is that there is greater understanding between the clubs, and both sides are confident that a deal will be struck imminently.
Second bid from @ManUtd has gone in. 85m Euros. Still short (10m Euros from BVB asking price) but confidence now that deal will be concluded.

Personal terms and agents fee already agreed.
BVB feeling is ‘deal now closer’, as per @bild @cfbayern. But they want €95m. https://t.co/migIpvqpWL
Report came from Germany through Christian Falk at BILD that Dortmund are still holding out for €95m, but the feeling is that this will be met through Manchester United’s payment structure in the deal.
The Jadon Sancho transfer saga has dragged on longer than most, but luckily it has not met Wesley Sneijder levels in terms of believability. It’s evident from the player and both of the clubs that a deal is just a matter of time, with the biggest concerns being marginal differences in payment of the transfer fee. Sancho has a week before England’s Round of 16 tie at Wembley next Tuesday, and Manchester United have a London office, so it likely wouldn’t be too much trouble to wrap up a deal during the Euros.
There is also a small matter of Manchester United’s kit launch, with a new shirt sponsor, which will be revealed shortly after the beginning of the new club season calendar. Manchester United’s affinity for business and commercial endeavors would lead one to believe any Sancho reveal would likely coincide with the new kit launch in order to maximize shirt sales. This could be another huge transfer for the club under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who would finally have a star to complete his attacking front from all angles.
