Manchester United are rumored to be in pursuit of not one, but TWO French centre backs this summer. The first obviously being Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane, and the second is Sevilla’s highly rated young defender Jules Kounde.
#mufc are preparing a move for Sevilla's Jules Koundé in addition to Raphaël Varane. Koundé's potential and versatility fits the criteria for the young type of player Solskjær is looking to add to his squad #mulive [mail]

Kounde, who made a couple cameos at UEFA Euro 2020 for France, has been an important player for Sevilla the last couple seasons. He’s a versatile defender, capable of playing multiple positions and matching the opposition’s pace. At just 22 he is also a centre back that can offer growth and stability at the position for many years to come.
Kounde fits the long term team building philosophy of Solskjaer’s Manchester United project, and though he may not start immediately over Maguire, Lindelof, or the ideally soon to arrive Varane he does add depth to one of the thinnest position groups in the squad. If a deal can be worked out for both he and Varane it will be quite the Summer haul for Solskjaer’s defense.
