Highly touted 16-year-old Ethan Ennis has joined Manchester United from arch-rivals, Liverpool.
Ennis is a fairly versatile player, who mostly plays in the forward areas. Last season, he scored three times for Liverpool on their way to the FA Youth Cup final against Aston Villa, which they lost.
Ennis also scored five goals in eight games for Liverpool’s U-18’s last season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Ennis had rejected a scholarship offer from the Merseyside club and possibly visited Chelsea’s Cobham training ground before deciding to make his way to Old Trafford.
He made an announcement on social media with the following caption:
Any move from Liverpool to United or vice versa will create some buzz and young Ennis will have been aware of that. He should be a fixture in United’s U-18s and U-23s side for the coming season.
Here’s a YouTube clip to get familiar with the youngster.
