Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani will return to England this Thursday, just ahead of the club’s opening game of the season on Saturday. However Cavani may need to isolate for a period of time before rejoining his teammates in training.
I am told that Edinson Cavani will probably be flying back to Manchester this Thursday, and is waiting to learn which quarantine rules will apply to him upon arrival #MUFC

United’s number 7 has been on holiday since Uruguay’s Copa America Quarterfinal exit, and will miss United’s opening Premier League match on August 14 against Leeds United at Old Trafford. According to Jonathan Shrager, Cavani is waiting to see what quarantine rules he will be subject to upon arrival in England.
Cavani scored 17 goals in his debut season for United, and made a serious claim to be the first choice striker ahead of Anthony Martial. With Martial back from injury and training for a couple weeks before the start of the new season he will have a chance to make his case before Cavani’s return.
