Manchester United full back Brandon Williams is a sought after loan target for a couple Premier League clubs this summer, with Southampton and Norwich City both rumored to be lobbying for his services.
Norwich City are in pole position to sign Brandon Williams on loan after holding talks with the player last week. Southampton still want Williams but a chat with Daniel Farke has moved the situation in Norwich's favour. Saints are unwilling to pay the loan fee #mulive [mirror]

Norwich, who have bounced right back up to the Premier League after a season back in the Championship, are the latest club linked with the young defender. Manager Daniel Farke has reportedly been pushing for the move in recent days after a move to Southampton stalled over the loan fee. Norwich had trouble stopping goals in their last Premier League campaign, and could use some help defensively as they look to stay up this time around.
Southampton have not had a similar problem, but are under threat of stagnating under Hassenhuttl. Still, the Austrian manager has done well on the south coast, and is well liked for his enthusiasm as well as tactical prowess. Williams is likely to get more playing time at Norwich, but could be in a better situation at Southampton. Either way he would certainly get more minutes than he will playing behind Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka respectively, and a chance to earn those minutes in the Premier League is invaluable for his development.
