Manchester United will be looking to record their third Premier League win of the season when they welcome Newcastle United to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

All eyes will be on the return of Cristiano Ronaldo, who incredibly returned to Old Trafford from Juventus in the final stages of the summer transfer window.

Ronaldo has trained alongside his new teammates this week, and the Portuguese is expected to go straight into the starting XI on Saturday afternoon at center-forward.

United could take on Steve Bruce’s Magpies without six senior players. The likes of Alex Telles, Dean Henderson, Scott McTominay, Marcus Rashford, and Phil Jones are all likely to be unavailable for the clash.

Another player who is facing a race against time to feature on the night is Jadon Sancho. The 21-year-old withdrew from the England squad after picking up a minor injury.
