Manchester United continue their UEFA Champions League campaign today against a somewhat familiar opponent. Villarreal, the team that defeated United on penalties to win the 2021 UEFA Europa League Final, come to Old Trafford for the second group stage match day. All previous meetings between the two sides have ended in a draw, but both are desperate to get all three points after disappointing openers.
United will be especially desperate for a win after losing 3 of their last 4, including a 2-1 away defeat to BSC Young Boys on match day 1. With Harry Maguire and possibly Luke Shaw both out the ask for the defense is a difficult one, and Solskjaer will be hoping he can get the offense clicking finally.
Here’s how you can watch the match.
